Piano Lessons
My teaching objectives are to cultivate well rounded musicianship, and build a trusting relationship with my students by giving them agency over the teaching process (offering choices, options, accommodations)

Where do the lessons take place?
I currently teach from my new home studio (9 Sheriff Park, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6DY). I often book a lovely studio in a historic venue of Dean Village, so my students have the opportunity to practice on a Steinway piano. (Edinburgh Society of Musicians building, 3 Belford Road, Edinburgh,EH4 3BL)

What is the cost and length of the lessons?
The lessons can last 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour, depending on the level and preference of each student. Click below for more information and to book a lesson.

Group lessons
Apart from one to one lessons, you can also choose to share the learning experience and the cost with a friend (or get paired with someone that matches your level and music interests). You can be part of a pair or a group of three. Feel free to get in touch using the form below to learn more about group lesson options.
Piano Lesson through the Alexander Technique lens means discovering the easiest and quickest way to achieve your artistic goals.
Your wellbeing and sustainability of your technique comes first, and the practice and performance process becomes more enjoyable and rewarding.
With a series of practical tools, we experiment with focus, poise, excess tension, performance anxiety, and anything that can get in the way of enjoying and expressing yourself; treating yourself as your primary instrument, and the piano as the secondary one. These principles are introduced to the youngest students through games and activities, while older or mature students can choose to go into as much depth as they would like.
